May 2008.)
- Sandilands

- The Sandilands Ski Club continues to groom the trails in the Sandilands Provincial Forest. You may purchase season
trail passes for $45/individual or $60/family, or $7/individual on a daily basis. A
drop box is located at the General Store in Marchand.
The two major parking lots will be cleared regularly. These are located across the highway from the Marchand
Wayside Park and at the Yellow
trailhead. The Black trailhead lot will not be cleared.
Falcon Ridge Ski Area
-
Falcon Ridge Ski Area website
- The Falcon Ridge Ski Area offers over 22K of skating and classic trails for all levels of ability. The trails wind throughout the
magnificent Canadian Shield, exploring remote lakes and untouched wilderness. The Falcon Ridge trail system also connects with the larger
South Whiteshell trail, offering an additional 40K. Ski rentals, wax, wholesome meals, and hot chocolate are available at the ski hill chalet where you can warm up beside
a stone fireplace and often enjoy some live music. Falcon Trails Resort provides lakefront cabins located right at the trail head, and for a real adventure you
can also book the remote High Lake Eco cabins over the Christmas break, which are accessible only by
cross country ski or snowmobile.
