Ski repair |

At the 2002 Grand Birch Classic, I badly broke a tip on one of my Fischer RCS classic skis. My spirits rose a bit when Nancy Lovenjak told me that her talented husband Milan had completely repaired two broken tips for her in the past few years. I'm even more jinxed (or klutzier) -- I've broken four skis in the past 8 years!
Today I'm much happier because Master Ski Craftsman Milan Lovenjak has repaired my classic ski. He also easily repaired a semi-broken tip on an Atomic ARC skating ski that I'd had sitting around from four years ago, and the badly broken tip from a Fischer RCS skating ski that I put through the slats on a Windsor Park bridge six years ago.
If you have a broken ski tip from a pair of quality skis, consider contacting Milan. Be aware that Milan does ski repair in his spare time, so you might have to wait until spring. Also note that Milan didn't ask me to advertise his services -- I'm just a very satisfied "customer" who wonders if other skiers are also one broken ski tip away from being able to resume using their high quality skis.
