Format notes

Classic: Classic technique only.
Free: Most participants will skate, but there will be a classic track.
Skate: There won't be a classic track.
Skate or Classic: When you register, you declare which technique/event you are doing, and the results will reflect that choice.
Classic & Skate: A relay where one team member will use classic technique, and the other team member skates.

Event updates

Any updates to events made in the week before the event will be posted in red on the homepage of our website (http://www.ccski.mb.ca/).
Any updates to weekend events made within 48 hours of the event will also be recorded on the CCSAM office phone line at 925-5639. For events held at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre, contact Windsor Park.

Membership

For insurance reasons, all entrants of a CCSAM-sanctioned race must be members of a CCSAM member club (or a CCC member club, or hold a CCC or FIS race license). Non-members must purchase a Supporting Membership / Day License in order to race. The Supporting Membership / Day License fee is $5 per participant per race ($4 for a Wednesday Night Race), and the form will be at the race site and is also on our Clubs page.
Manitoba Cup points are awarded to event participants that are members of registered CCSAM clubs.

Feb 4: Frank Symonds is a Pursuit (mass start classic, transition to free technique)
Jan 19: Teulon Open /Interlake Region Qualifier for the Manitoba Games postponed from Sunday January 24th to Sunday February 7th.
Jan 4: Grand Beach Classic postponed from Sunday January 10th to TBA.
Jan 3: Provincial Sprint Championships postponed from Sunday January 3rd to Sunday January 10th.
Dec 8: Provincial Sprint Championships postponed from Sunday December 13th to Sunday January 3rd.
Oct 28: Add the date and location for the McCreary Relay / Parkland Region Qualifier for the Manitoba Games.
Oct 2: Frank Symonds is not Classic, but rather a Same Day Pursuit (interval start classic, an hour or so break, pursuit start free technique).
Sep 23: Add Teulon Open / Interlake Region Qualifier for the Manitoba Games on Jan 24th. Change Grand Beach Open to Grand Beach Classic.
Sep 14: Add Provincial Sprint Championships on December 13th. Westerns Sprint is free, not classic. Manitoba Cup races have been designated.
Sep 9: Technique updates for the Wednesday Night Race Series on Dec 9th, Feb 24th, March 3rd, and March 10th.
